        My 90 year old mom moved into The Wellington just six weeks before the Residence went into lockdown mid March 2020 as a result of the global pandemic. While this was a very stressful time for her AND her family, we knew she was safe and well cared for. The staff instantly became her new family looking after her every need with care and compassion. The Director, Gail Richer, was always very transparent with updates and frequent emails to the families. Her staff are all so friendly, helpful and respectful as well. As a registered nurse, I was very impressed with the consistent use of PPE (masks, eye shield/goggles, gloves) hand sanitizer and twice daily temperature checks throughout these past 15 months. I firmly believe that this attention to detail is the reason The Wellington has remained COVID FREE to date. Thank you for taking such good care of my dear mom!
