We went to this deli at noon on March 3, 2015. It is a very different deli from others that I have been to. The first thing you will notice is all of the art on the wall. Some of the paintings have little stories about the artists included below. I was reading a story about an artist who had been working for all her life and she finally started painting after her retirement. Such a story is so inspiring that it is never too late to start something that you have a passion for. Her paintings were absolutely beautiful and made the trip memorable from a visual perspective. I really enjoyed sitting in the restaurant surrounded by all of the paintings while eating. The creativity of local artists is amazing and the variety is such that everyone in your group will have one painting to stare at for a while. Sometimes I wondered if the people sitting next to us were the artists, as I would love to have heard their stories. Besides all of the art on the wall, the menu options looked very tasty and my husband had to let a few people pass him so he could choose what he wanted. I ordered Philly Steak and my husband ordered Smoked Meat Reuben. The sandwiches were very good and you could tell that they were made with high quality ingredients. Both dishes come with chips but I substituted my chips with a soup. The smoked meat Reuben was a bit small for my husband, who had not eaten breakfast, so I gave half of my Philly steak to him. I would recommend you pay a little bit more to get extra meat if you tend to eat a lot or like meat, but overall both sandwiches were very good. It is a great lunch and wonderful experience for us!
