Comfort Inn & Suites

Rooms: The rooms were spacious and clean but had a terrible view of only the parking lots. Having said that, we did not pick this place for the views but price and location. Nearby activities: This inn was located near the middle of Collingwood or at least had a lot of stores and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient if you needed anything.

Well from the beginning! Room smells musty, very dated and dusty. No room cleaning and you have to pickup your towels from the front desk. Beds are very uncomfortable and mattress probably havent been changed in 10 years. Breakfast is terrible and very disgusting had to go to Tim Hortons to get food and coffee. If I could leave no stars I would! I do not recommend this place!

The male front desk guys are very nice and accommodating but I have to give one star overall for the intolerable elderly lady working Sat May 20th afternoon/ evening shift at the front desk. She is always bitter and sour every single time we stay at this hotel. She is so unpleasant that we would never stay at this hotel location again. The dirty looks, rolling the eyes, rude attitude, and uninviting feel to her is not welcoming nor worth the stay. I hate to complain but she puts this hotel at 1 star. We will stay at luxury inn, right across the street for half the price as they treats us like actual guests.

My wife and I loved this place. Right in the heart of Collingwood with the historic downtown a few minutes drive away and right beside all the big box stores and shops everywhere. On top of that, Blue Mountain village and Scenic Caves Park were 10-15min drive away. Marianne - older lady at night - was just incredible. Super friendly with fantastic service. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The morning breakfast was great. Pretty much you had everything you needed including a waffle station. Highly recommend if you don't want to break the bank on a hotel that you're not going to be spending your whole day at. The free Ice-lemon water and coffee station in the lobby is a very nice touch as well.
