I've done now over 60 inspections in this subdivision and its stupidity like this that isn't looked over again, another "wonderful" build by Tamarack. Come on, your going to break someones neck and entire lower body here! - missing staircase framing - Stairs are crooked because its not secure, To anchor stairs you must secure the stair stringers in two locations: to the floor joist at top & the 2x4's in the wall. Stairs are required to resist a minimum live load of 300 pounds (concentrated load) or 100 pounds per square foot (psf), or 40 psf for one one-and two-family dwellings. a single screw can hold 80-100 pounds. Several factors can impact on the amount of weight the screw can hold, depending the way it was inserted, how far it went in, the width/ type of the screw and the type of forces that will be acting on it. You as a new home owner, better be looking for proper quality in a inspector. I'm a former interior & exterior contractor for 17+ years, I'm also the #1 hated inspector in Ottawa & Quebec by builders for showing you the honest truth.
