CIBC Branch (Cash at ATM only)

Completely understaffed, and the person at the front desk couldn't do basic banking functions because their "printer was not working". Uhmmm...the whole branch has only one printer? Ridiculous!

Please do not open a Checking account in this CIBC Branch. The manager will not approve the Account opening offers as per the CIBC commitments. I have to close the account now after 9 months of not getting the account opening offer.

Well this is by far the worse place to go get something solved, the guy up front who says to be incharged, Mr Farooq, is very incompetent, (trying to contain my self) went in to get something solved and he would just give me excuses not to do his job, then pretends to be doing something on the computer while sweading of nervousness, like if he was hiding something, and tell me with a breaking voice that he cannot help me because something doesn't match, very unprofessional, very unexperenced and very sketchy, cheap cheap!!!! That's all this branch has to offer l, Mr Farooq, thanks for nothing!!

5 Platinum Stars for Shamicksha* and Farooq* I have to quickly write about my experience of the above and beyond customer service today. Two absolutely awesome and stellar out of this world I today's climate where customer service has gone to the dogs. Shamicksha (female customer service agent credit cards ) on the phone and Farooq ( I believe to be and financial advisor in his office ) at the location. Accidental blocked pin at self-cash out, I had to rush to my wife's rescue from work. On my way I called the CIBC Costco card helpline and Shamicksha was my angel looked up the nearest CIBIC location for me to reset after most importantly verifying that I was indeed the cardhder. The steps were so easy. Once at the location I ran into another problem the ATM didn't have the features I was told ( I could have made a mistake tho, due to how flustered I was ) Farooq saw that I was in distress and came to my aid. The helped me at the after first making sure again that I was indeed the cardholder and did an update in his office for me. Now I know for sure that good stories like these go unnoticed and write every day while unfortunately the bad ones get posted. PS I hope my experience helps you today. * I may have messed up the spelling of their names sorry
