Terrible service, any other Scotiabank branch I would go to except for this one

Don't expect customer service from the counter staff(specially working on Wednesday,August 10,2022 at 10.45 am). No name tags! Without giving the available option of one year fee , automatically tried to charge for two years! One thing you can be assured of is complete indifference and blank looks. If it's the only option then bank at this branch. Best of luck if you do so.

Not sure if they are having any intentions to attract new customers but they were clearly sounding rude towards customers. I have booked an appointment on phone and the duration they gave is between 11:15 to 12:00. They never clearly mentioned if it is the appointment duration or the meeting time. I went in there by 11:30 and they said they cannot take me since I didnt come by 11:15. They need to be clear on call on what they are saying instead of explaining to customers directly.

If I could add a 0 stars, I would. The financial advisor who was supposed to help us open a new account did not show up for the appointment. The Branch Manager said she could "help" us. Instead of explaining more about Scotia Bank's products, she questioned why we would want to open a new bank account if we were already banking with other financial institutions. She said she didn't want us coming back complaining about fees without even explaining the fees or the products. She questioned how we would transfer money and that would have a fee as well. It definitely came across as they didn't want any new customers. Terrible terrible customer service.
