I wanted to say a huge thank you to Jennifer and Jon with their help facilitating the move for my sister and her family into their new place. They were returning from years of living in the US, and had no idea where to move, or knowledge of the current rental market:/ As a long time resident of the Cloisters, I knew this place would be the perfect fit. Jennifer took the time to go through the options based on their needs, and pricing. The unit was perfectly set up for them (new paint/cleaned/any repairs that needed to be done), and Jennifer gave me the tip of leaving water, sugar, salt and rice - as in her culture - it's a way to welcome them to their new home (they loved that). Jennifer and Jon's understanding of the issues involved with coming back to Canada was greatly appreciated. I think we called them a thousand times, but they always took the time to answer questions. Unfortunately, dealing with the online system was a challenge as the company Upper Management has hired to coordinate applications is not efficient, or helpful. But Jennifer swooped right in and fixed everything! In general, Cloisters is a great place to live, as shown by how many generations of families still live here. Jennifer, Jon and maintenance try really hard to make it a home for all of us. All of my maintenance requests are promptly dealt with (thank you Ryan for attending to my recent AC issue so quickly - and confirming I wasn't losing my mind lol), and to the gentleman who works by the garbage. He always has a smile on his face, and says hi - even though his job is really gross:/ I highly recommend Cloisters, and hope Upper Management doesn't increase the rent to high as that would encourage more turnover, which would take away from the community feel we have, and creates unnecessary work for Jennifer, Jon and maintenance. *Edited to clarify items Upper Management is responsible for vs. the Management Office where Jennifer and Jon work
