Eric Sanderson, the principal of the school has put in a lot of efforts to curate a curriculum that not only enhances your understanding about the human body, but also opens your mind to a whole new perspective of looking at the world. Every instructor that teaches at the school exposes you to a different way of thinking. The school, the program, and the teachers will completely change your idea about education (traditionally thought of as going through a university/institution for a stipulated time and getting through exams by regurgitating information). The school will transform you as a practitioner and as a human being if you are patient, and persistent with your efforts on a life-changing journey.

Absolutely phenomenal program so far. As I approach the end of my first year I am astounded at the development I have experienced as a health care practitioner. The foundation of OAoPO paradigm is rooted in a deep understanding of relational anatomy, with a keen focus on promoting the long term health of patients. The teachers in this program have all been remarkable, with an effective and compassionate approach towards the students growth and journey. Anyone that is looking to be challenged in learning an integral system to grow professional skills should look into enrollment.

Ive had the pleasure to attend various lectures and clinical sessions at progressive osteopathy and it has truly been a memorable experience. Eric does an incredible job covering content and ensuring that each of his students not only understands the material on paper, but is also able to demonstrate their knowledge during clinical sessions. I feel as though my knowledge has expanded greatly and bonds have been made with other students. I highly recommend this school!

An open philosophy based on reliable sources of information, but also on the theory of complexity which corresponds to the new way of thinking about osteopathy today. The small groups allow a lot of time to practice and exchange with the teacher.

An honest review. The theoretical knowledge and clinical experience I received after completing this program has largely exceeded my expectations. Some of the standout features of the college include: -A faculty composed of some of the top osteopathic practitioners in the field today -A curriculum that is vast in breadth and depth, covering traditional osteopathic teachings mixed with progressive treatment strategies (for example, functional neurology and complexity theory). -A supportive enriching learning environment, small class sizes, guided tutorials between courses and recorded lectures. -Compassionate guidance. Eric, the principal, is equally kind as he is knowledgeable. Personally, I have taken courses at several osteopathic institutes including three in Ontario and I can honestly say that OAPO provides the most well rounded, high caliber education. I am proud to be a graduate of this program and believe this was one of the best decisions I made for my career. Upon completion I have the competency, curiosity and compassion to treat people and make a real difference in the lives of others. Osteopathy is a journey and there is no quick route. I highly suggest studying atOAOPOif you are serious about becoming a highly skilled manual osteopath.
