LD is a great store with some amazing pieces. Sadly they get let down with their after sales service. I have spent a lot of money with them in the past so to say the recent experiences have been dissapointing is an understatement. Scenario 1. I ordered a table from them which was delivered damaged. I promptly went through their return process and was told a replacement table would be organised in an exchange with the damage table. Great! 6 weeks later, I receive the replacement table. It was literally broken in two. I had to call the delivery company (AJ Campbell) and tell them to come back and take the table away. They tell me to go back to LD to organise a third replacement. By this time I was fed up and asked for a refund. I received a backhanded apology outlining that they are "just an ecommerce company" and are dependent on AJ Campbell doing their job. That may be true, however customer service doesn't finish when you hand the goods over to your delivery provider. They did offer me a 20% coupon as part of their apology. Scenario 2 : I decided to give them one last chance hoping the experience might improve. It couldnt get worse. I did a stock check on another table. Agent on chat says the table is available and would be ready in 5-6 weeks. I place the order the next day only to receive an email 4 days later saying it is out of stock. It took a week for them to refund my $3000. In a nutshell, a very dissapointing experience considering they position their brand as high end/luxury but their after sales service leaves a lot to be desired.

I purchased 2 pendant lights from LD Shoppe and, due to a delayed kitchen renovation, didn't check the contents before the warranty expired. On opening the items I found crucial items missing. After an initial glitch with sales staff, I received a call from the owner. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue and I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service provided. I appreciated both the personal touch and commitment to customer satisfaction.
