Sean and his whole team were there for us from start to finish. They staged our place in record time and they did such a beautiful job that I almost didn't want to sell our place! They were able to sell our unit within 2-3 weeks and this was during a difficult market for real estate. They kept us in the loop with viewings, the viewers review of our place and provided statistical data to help us understand how the market works. Sean and his team never applied pressure when it came to selling and always reminded us that we make the decisions and we would have Sean's full support. Sean and his team were always professional and courteous. We are happy we hired them to help us sell our condo.

Here is something unusual: Sean McCann is the only real estate agent that listened to us. Over the years, we dealt with and/or interviewed many real estate professionals. They only had one thing in mind: price the house for a quick sale and they would not listen to any of the points we tried to make. They would cite comps from different parts of Ottawa to convince us to list it at a lower price point. To them, our house was a commodity that was made up of a certain number of rooms, baths and lot size. Sean explained the market trends, presented relevant comps, but he also understood what was special about our house and never treated it as a commodity. And most importantly, at the end of the day, he said, it is your house and your decision. The interesting thing was that even though he listed the property at a higher price point than other agents recommended, he sold it in less than a week. And this is not an accident, his track record is extraordinary as he sells properties faster than others and he has the numbers to back up that claim. We never met a more thoughtful, accommodating, pleasant to deal with and efficient agent than Sean McCann. Equally importantly, he has a great team, where everyone has clearly delineated tasks and handles them quickly and effectively and always with a great smile. We are convinced that Julia Wilson will one day be the CEO of her own real estate outfit. If you are in Ottawa trying to sell your house, there is no one better than Sean McCann to do it for you. The "the guy with the dog" team is simply the best there is. Even if you are a cat person give them a call, you will not regret it.

Sean and the entire The Guy With The Dog team (Julia, Lucas and Valerie) were superb. We were referred to Sean by friends. We interviewed him and other agents before deciding to go with Sean. He impressed us with his calm demeanour, his data analytics, and superior knowledge of the Ottawa market and the neighbourhoods we were most interested in (Hintonburg, Wellington Village, Westboro, Civic Hospital). What we were not expecting, but were thrilled to discover, was that The Guy With The Dog is more than just Sean. There is an entire team that made the process of selling our home and buying a new one surprisingly easy. There was great communication, really excellent customer service, and a lovely group of people to work with throughout the process. We will not hesitate to refer Sean and the team to anyone looking for a realtor. (It was a bonus, and no doubt due in part to Sean's knowledge and approach, that we managed to sell our place for full list price within 48 hours while buying a great home well under asking price in one of our preferred neighbourhoods. We benefitted from Sean's understanding of the market, price trends, and that he loves to negotiate!)

This is the best realtor group you could ask for in Ottawa! I am so thankful to have come across their website. Sean was recommended through work as I was moving from Edmonton AB and knew nothing about Ottawa. I got so lucky coming across his team, not only did they respect my budget they genuinely wanted to best home for me. They are such a kind group of people and Sean has unlimited knowledge of the city and real-estate market. Condo shopping was honestly so fun and SO productive, the portal of personalized listings they create for you is updated regularly. The amount of condos I saw in such a short amount of time was record breaking. It was so nice and helpful getting to shop around the city, as well as Sean would be so honest about the homes we were looking at. There was even a point where I just wanted to settle and start bidding but this team kept updating the available listings and kept booking places for me to continue to find my home. I bought a condo that I would not have been able to land without them and am absolutely so happy living out here.
