I've been a patient at the clinic for over 30 years and I've found him to be a very attentive doctor. It's true that Dr. Verma does not refill prescriptions, which can be annoying at times, but he prefers to be very hands-on as he reviews prescriptions in order to prevent unnecessary over-use (i.e. painkillers) or to update to newer/better medicine. I've found the receptionist to be accommodating with appointments, especially if it's urgent. I've never had any issues and, where Dr. Verma's expertise is lacking, he is always willing to refer me to other medical specialists.

Not the most friendly environment. Reception can be fairly rude. I was looking for a new family doctor at the time and would have understood if they were not accepting patients but they made me feel bad for even inquiring. Not impressed.

dr verma is constantly late mornings for bloodwork and afternoons because he goes home for lunch and doesn't give himself enough time to drive back. he will not do anything over the phone (need a refill, go to emerg). inflexible hours if you have a job (usually 10-4 nice w/1.5hr lunch). doesn't seem up to date and is a clock watcher. transferring out after 8 yrs in the guild. and his "physicals" last 3 minutes.
