1101 Bay

We moved into 1101 Bay St. during covid. Couldn't resist, upgraded suites in fabulous location! In such a chaotic time, Aida & Ethel went above and beyond to get me the suite I so desired! I can't leave out the rest of the staff, I know all their names as they know mine and my puppy being we're always greeted with big smiles and little chats. Not to mention, if I am ever in need of some help...always here, never have to wait for days to have something fixed etc...I won't forget all you did for me and continue to do. Am so thankful to find this great building and the fantastic staff! Obviously, can't say enough! Thank you All!!

I have been staying here since Sept 2013, and I can say with certainty that the management and maintenance folks here are very friendly and considerate. Any issues or concerns are addressed quickly by the staff, and existing amenities are well maintained and are constantly being improved. Also, comparing other apartments in the Bay area, this place has been reasonably priced throughout that I upgraded thrice within the same building!

Great location, terrible experience due to the nonstop construction, drilling, and hammering noises that have been going on over a year. The management team doesn't know how to plan work properly, so expect everything to take longer than scheduled and for it to be worse than you expect. They shut down the power and water with some regularity, but again because of management incompetence, you should expect that the work will take longer than planned and will likely be extended repeatedly. And even if you have a job that takes you out of the apartment 9-5, you'll still have to deal with the constant noise and disruption, as they sometimes keep doing construction work until after 7pm on a Friday night. Management doesn't care about tenant issues and will refuse to address them, telling them (for over a year now) to use the common area or study rooms when construction is ongoing. On the good side of the scale, the actual maintenance and security staff of the building are excellent: quality people who are doing their best despite how bad management is. They're very responsive, polite, and accommodating to tenants, and this makes up in a small way for the failures of building management (and especially the property owner, Oxford Properties Group, who are ultimately responsible for these problems).

I just moved in and love it. The reviews about the management team were right on. Aida and Ethel helped so much and are such lovely and welcoming people that it is a pleasure to live here. They explained everything and went out of their way to accommodate. Great Customer Service.
