When I first started months ago I was really excited about starting a new fitness journey (and down the street since I just moved in the area!) The first 2 weeks seemed motivating as I was distracted by the new fitness routine I was in. Over time I realized it's a bit of a social club for very select few. The trainers see me everyday and never say Hi, except for one trainer who is consistently kind and helpful to everyone. I look forward to my workouts when he is there and feel releived. Otherwise, the 45 minutes feels dull and the rest of the trainers give only their friends attention and post on social media the same few friends working out. Most trainers are playing on their phones while we work out or even step out into the hall area. One trainer in particular at random decides to help me from time to time telling me I'm not doing something correctly then goes back to their cell phone - meanwhile minutes ago the other trainer told me I was doing the same exercise perfectly? It's very confusing... With my health issues I have no choice but to continue going to this gym, and I'm embarrassed to use my real name on this Google review to avoid feeling even more out of place as it is so don't try to find me (lol), but I see what's going on in this club and it's a shame because one trainer is excellent and he goes above and beyond and there are lots of lovely people training at this gym that feel the same and wish others were given the time a day a bit more considering we are paying gym customers and see one another on a daily. This gym is pricey. We pay extra for a better workout then at Goodlife and for the interaction with a trainer. Being neglected and feeling confused defeats the purpose.

The workouts were really good and the shortened time is really nice to fit into your schedule. However it is very cliquey here, I did a trial which took me forever to get ahold of anyone to see how it works (email, instagram) and once I started attending the instructors never gave me the time of day, they care more about putting their friends on instagram, or having catch up/private chats. I did not feel welcomed here.

The BEST fitness studio in the beaches hands down!!! The workouts change everyday, lots of variety, for ALL fitness levels. The trainers are amazing, the music, and atmosphere is amazing. If you want to get in the best shape of your life, have support of trainers without paying for 1-on-1 training, you need to check out this incredible community.

I cant describe how fun the workouts are! All of the trainers are great, they are pushing us every time, they are challenging you and they are always there for you. Very good atmosphere, good music and fantastic workouts for both women and man.

Ive been a member since September 2019 and I LOVE this studio. Its where the 2020 global F45 challenge winner, Megan Garbutt, trained for 45 days, and trained right next to me, when she won first place. It was an amazing and motivating experience to see her get stronger and leaner week to week. I have also seen this incredible transformation in many of the participants at the studio. Thats because Jackson (one of the owners) and the trainers push us when we are ready for it and thats where change happens. Second, its not only a fantastic gym, its a social thing. You feel part of a community. There are games and contests and prizes and many fantastic social events and milestone celebrations organized by owners Andrea and Jackson. From the first time I walked in to 250 workouts later, Ive felt welcomed and so comfortable there, like a second home. Third, the equipment and workouts are state of the art level. Every workout is different and you never know what to expect, other than its cardio day or strength day or hybrid. This keeps things interesting and its top of the line quality. Lastly, in just under a year my physical health has never been better. I feel stronger, more positive, more committed to achieving my personal best than ever. And thats entirely thanks to this studio and its message that you are stronger than you think: physically, mentally, emotionally. I highly recommend it if you are a beginner, returning to the gym, or looking for a change. F45 is for EVERYONE, and you wont find a nicer environment or nicer people than at F45 The Beach, Toronto. If you are still on the fence, just come in tomorrow, and see for yourself.
