It's been over 8 years of dealing with a longstanding injury in my shoulder, and during this past year I've finally made leaps of progress in my recovery. Joshua Irwanto and Noah John have been instrumental in this journey and I can't thank them enough. Almost my entire 20s has been about having to put up with this never ending injury until now. Here's my story. After a rotator cuff injury in 2015 from weightlifting, I've never been able to return to upper body exercises because of the poor movement/compensation patterns I developed after my injury. This lead to constant discomfort and chronic pain in my upper back, neck and shoulders no matter what kind of exercises I performed. Desperate to return to weightlifting, I sought out physiotherapists, massage therapists and chiropractors from different clinics in the city. Although I made some progress with some of the help I received, most of it ended up being temporary band-aid solutions. I've spent thousands of dollars desperately trying to return to feeling strong again. It felt like something was innately wrong with my body. After being assessed and began prehab exercises with Josh, we learned that most of my issues stem from the lack of proper muscle engagement and neurological connection during movement. I spent so long using poor engagement patterns that I would always regress to pain and injury. He reassured me that I would overcome this longstanding injury with a plan when others couldn't understand how to help me. I felt very optimistic and safe to be in his care, as he patiently listened to all my complaints and educated me on what was going on with my body during any setbacks. Dr. Germann was also very helpful at explaining some of the causes of my initial injury when past doctors and clinics had no clue. After making some progress with a plan that was catered to my specific needs, I was introduced to, and began strength training with Noah. It was very exciting to finally transfer over from smaller prehab exercises to a full workout plan that would lead me back to weightlifting. It was very reassuring to be able to train in the clinic's well equipped gym with Noah and still get to work with Josh when necessary. My progress with Noah has been incredible, he's constantly educating me on my form and biomechanics as we build strength in my weakest links. I'm finally able to perform movements I've dreamed of doing for years, it's unbelievable to me that I'm actually getting closer and closer to my longterm weightlifting goals. Both Noah and Josh are great to work with and keep me inspired and optimistic about my progress. Their dedication to my recovery has been incredibly reassuring and helpful. I've never had better scapular biomechanics and control than I do now, and I can't wait to keep progressing. Push Pounds is a top tier professional clinic with great staff and a great space that I recommend to anyone with a new or old injury. I've spent so long being injured and it's so liberating to feel strong again. Thank you!

I had an appointment with Dr. Fouad Sayde for my neck and arm pain. After the assessment, he explained what was going on with good clarity. The issue has been troubling me for months, his clear explanation, steps to be taken and reassurance was very professional and comforting. I have fully recovered and I thank Dr. Sayde for his help.

I went to see Noah Mandel to treat a TFCC wrist injury that I got from rock climbing. I was only in Toronto for 10 days but saw him twice and he gave me exercises and stretches to start with, progressions for later, and safe modifications of exercises that I usually do. Noah also showed me exercises that are specific to climbing and helped with particular movements that hurt like underclings and pressing up above my head. He explained everything really well and I feel confident that I can manage the injury on my own with all the information he gave me. I also have a chronic neck injury and Noah gave me a lot of good exercises to strengthen my neck to avoid future injuries. I would absolutely recommend going to see him. The office is clean, the gym is well equipped, and reception and other staff are very friendly.
