Pet Valu

Was disappointed with the service I received today. I have only ever received great service and felt very welcomed by other Pet Valu locations. As soon as I set foot in the door today, the girl working at the Roncevalles location today was rude and seemed to to be troubled by any questions I had. I'd recommend any other nearby location as their staff is much friendlier.

Its always a shame to go in and drop $100 on dog food and not even have the people working there respond when you say have a nice day. I get it, I worked retail for years and I know it can suck, but I always feel like a burden when I go into this specific location.

The manager Claire at this location is so rude and passive aggressive. My disabled mother purchased collars and a leash on the Pet Valu website and unfortunately they did not work for her dog. The online representative indicated that we could return to our local store with proof of purchase within 30 days. I brought the packing slip and provided a visual copy of the receipt to the manager of this store and she flat out refused to accept the return. Told me that she has the right to refuse a return of this amount, please keep in mind that the amount would have been under $100. My mom purchases all her Acana and Performatrin Ultra dog food at Pet Valu. This woman has been rude to my mother in the past so my mom refuses to shop at this location. We will travel further and shop at the Pet Valu Bloor West Village location where the manager is super helpful and they appreciate your business.
