Eugene came across my radar five years ago. He was referred by a contact who rated him A+++ after several family real estate transactions. After completing the profile he asked me to provide regarding what I wanted in a condo, I quickly realized I wasnt yet ready to give up my home of close to 40 years. But this past July, I decided I was ready. Eugene was nonplussed by the years that had passed. He listened while I shared both dreams and needs. He then showed me four condo units in different buildings. I fell in love with the first one I visited, went back a second time and then purchased it. Next came the sale of my home. Again, Eugene acted quickly, but with sensitivity, candour and transparency. The SOLD sign went up short days later. I confess that throughout the ten short weeks it took to both purchase and sell, there were a number of personal ups and downs. When we decided to buy a house back in 1999, Eugene was the natural choice having been friends for many years. Eugenes challenge was the enormous square peg of requirements we presented to him and the tiny round hole of a budget into which we asked him to fit it. As it turned out, even after some reshaping of both, there was nothing on the market that fit our needs. This is where we benefitted from Eugenes many years of experience and the many clients and contacts acquired over those years. Eugene found us a property that was not for sale and negotiated a deal that made both the sellers and buyers very happy. 21 years later, Eugene knew exactly where we were in our thinking and guided us expertly to what we believe was the top price with the least effort for that property.
