Ken McDonald was recommended to us by my sister who bought a house with him in 2016. Ken was fantastic to work with. As first-time home buyers, we really appreciated the time he spent with us familiarizing us with the market, the homes and the home buying process in general. Ken is very knowledgeable on the many neighbourhoods in Toronto and saved us countless hours of searching for the information ourselves. Ken demonstrated integrity, respect and honesty during the home buying process and he never pressured us into buying something we didnt want. Right from the onset, Ken worked tirelessly to understand our needs as first-time home buyers. He took the time to carefully listen to us, and he quickly advised us on a house-hunting strategy that provides structure to an otherwise chaotic search. It's obviously that he truly cared about us finding the right home, and supplied plenty of information for us to make informed decisions. Most importantly, he is never pushy, as he knows that buying a home is such a personal decision. His decades of experience really shine through. He listens, is knowledgeable, and is always available...even during his vacation. Thank you for all your hard work. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking in the Toronto market.

I highly recommend working with Ken McDonald to either buy or sell your house. He's a great guy who knows what he's doing. He brings to the table years of experience, an honest and straightforward approach, an amazing team of colleagues that produce, amongst other things, a 3-d virtual tour that will blow your mind and that of potential buyers, prompt service, detailed information, and a fantastic sense of humour and presence. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ken throughout the recent purchase of my home and sale of my condo. Ken differentiates himself from other realtors by not only having 25+ years of experience but by also being very educated and knowledgeable about home construction in general. This is especially true in east end of Toronto (East York, Danforth, Riverdale, Leslieville, etc.) where he was able to give us a history of the area, the time-frame of when the home was constructed, and the construction techniques that were used at that time with pros and cons. Once inside, he quickly identifies a number of things, both good and bad, and brings them to your attention for consideration. Many (or more likely most!) of these things I would not have noticed on my own. Ken provides this information in a factual manner, and offers up his honest opinion, but does so in a way that never feels pushy or misleading. I truly felt like Ken always had our best interest in mind and was 100% focused on ensuring that we found a place that met our needs. I never once felt pressured to make a decision or like I was being pushed to make an offer. Communication with Ken was great. He always answers his phone, and responds to texts & e-mails in a timely fashion. He'd often proactively share new information (comparable listings, market trends, news articles, etc.). On offer day, he was in constant contact with me providing updates and his analysis of how things were likely progressing. Offer day was also made much easier as Ken was able to provide us with an estimate of what he felt like the home was worth and where it would likely sell. A lot of Realtors will just say something like "make the best offer you can afford" without giving you an estimated value so having Ken do so (which was spot on btw) was very beneficial. Ken also has a very useful methodology that he uses on offer day to help predict how much over the sale price will likely be. At the end of the day, we ended up with a home that checks all of our boxes at a price that is fair, market competitive, and within my budget - I'm thrilled. Throughout the entire process, Ken was a professional. Long story short, I highly recommend Ken for your next purchase or sale.
