Holiday Inn Express & Suites Prince Albert, an IHG Hotel

Was ok place but only 1 elevator and the rooms were clean. Only issue I had was finding a mouse and insect glue trap hidden behind a small trash can in bathroom. I let the front desk know my concerns about this but have not had any sort of response about this matter. My suggestion is to ask if there are any rodent issues before you consider a stay here as I had some after finding the mouse trap.

Garbage hotel. Run down and overpriced. No breakfast because staff didn't show up. Pool was drained and hot tub was taped off, looked like it'd been closed for a while. Should have stayed in Saskatoon and driven to PA in the morning!

Won't be back. We stayed here a year ago and were not overly impressed. Pool was closed for maintenance. Had to change rooms as the room they gave us had holes in the wall and broken tiles in the bathroom Second visit this past weekend. Show up to a pool still broken, still States all over the website they have a pool but are clearly to cheap to fix ongoing issues. Room this time had holes in walls repaired with duct tape and cut out wallpaper. Stains on carpet, rusty light fixtures and so much more...very dated hotel. Was promised discount then only given a fraction of what the agreed upon discount was supposed to be when we checked in. Very disappointing. Bfast was edible and beds seemed mostly clean at least. Would not recommend to anyone

I have driven off road on better surfaces than the parking lot. Made a reservation, was told the price. checked in, there was an additional $75.00 charged, apparently for incidentals.Desk clerk could not explain, said it was policy. Pool and hot tub closed for maintenance. Took 10 tried to get my door open. Went for Ice, ice machine did not work,. Looked for a sign for ice, none present. Took the elevator to the front desk, clerk said fourth floor. I asked why they did not have a sign on the broken ice machine saying this, her reply, don't know. Tried the wi fi said I was not a registered guest. Called the front desk, rang for 9 minutes. I went down the clerk was on here Iphone. Told her about the wi fi. was told you need an authorization code. I asked where I get it it, was told it is in the key card folder. I asked why I was not told this when I checked in, no reply. Went to face time with my wife, could not do it as the wi fi kept cutting out. I had to phone my wife. The parking lot was not even close to full. I went over to the new Best Western, their prices are a little higher but the property is in much better condition. I may get a standard response from Genesis, the manager,she does not know anything about hospitality or customer service I have had problems at this hotel in the past, she does not followup on her promises. I do know I will have no further problems with this property as I will not stay there again.
