I was applying for a new furnace through Efficiency Manitoba. I reached out to a few places to ask some questions about how they are involved in the program. They answered my questions quickly and got me off of the phone. When I called Balcaen & Sons, the first person answering the phone answered all of my questions. She added additional information with how the application process will proceed and next steps. Then I had Mike come out to my house, he took all of the measurements, answered all of my questions, I had many questions for him!! He was so helpful and made sure I understood everything about the new furnace. I was approved quickly for the new furnace, the team came in on time, they were all helpful, kind, and walked me through everything from the thermostat to the furnace filters. They cleaned up my basement and headed out. I can't thank the entire team enough for getting me set up with a high efficiency furnace and an amazing team. Thank you Balcaen & Sons!!!

EDIT 14 months after instalation my furnace room is still flooding and it is worse than ever. Literally every day I need to empty bucket of water. They are flipping me from one person to another, sending plumber 20 times already to "inspect" situation. Nothing is done to fix the problem. Unorganized and unprofessional company. After my neighbors insisted HE furnace last year, my living room was flooded already 5!!! Times! They do come, they "fix" thing the same way, get flood again after pipes freeze and burst, they replace them the same way, then they burst again... No insulation. Leaving mess behind. Blaming covid for bad work. Talking with me like I'm person with intellectual disabilities. Today they didn't even show up... Do not recommend them!

Rude management. When I complained about being billed for 2 technicians instead of the one that showed up for the bulk of the work, and another that showed up to help for half an hour. Then I must have been blacklisted because next time I called they said they couldnt come out to fix my dead furnace for 2 weeks in the coldest days of winter. Really?
