My overall experience with this company was sadly not at all what I had expected. They were far from professional, not very forthcoming with any information and don't care to resolve construction concerns and/or provide follow up information in a timely fashion.

Excellent communication and much much better than some restoration companies in Winnipeg. They have the best set of sub-contractors to do the work on time and at the customers convenience. Thanks to Tom and Anna for making sure we get the best services.

Win-mar has excessive staff turnover and are poorly equipped to deal with large losses. They are there to work for the insurance company and to save them money by cheating on the repair to your property by being paid for the work but NEVER completing it and leaving you with all the problems associated with a property that didnt receive proper water and fire mitigation. Constant and continual fight to get work completed on time and property. Hire independent contractors you trust, NOT resto companies!

Where do I start? From shotty workmanship to ?inexperienced trades people to complete disregard for the homeowners property to gaslighting and ghosting me, it was a complete nightmare. I had an insurance claim and used winmar years ago for a restoration. I asked the insurance company to use winmar. What a mistake. Over the course of eight months, of which I had no use of the only toilet on the main floor of my bungalow, I had to continually put up with what seemed like incompetence. I strongly recommend you steer clear unless you want to hate all that replaces what you had.
