This year we sold our home of 24 years to "right-size" to a new home in a new neighbourhood as empty nesters. Sue, Patti and the team guided us through this emotional and exciting time every step of the way and we couldn't be happier with the result. Susan Chell and team recently managed the sale of our parents house while we moved them to a retirement residence. Every aspect of the sale, from initial consultation to final closing, was handled with extra care, sensitivity and grace. I particularly appreciated Susan taking the time to understand our situation and needs of our parents, and regularly sharing positive comments from potential buyers about aspects of the house that were important to our parents, which provided comfort in knowing their beloved home of 40+ years was going to someone who cares. Susan and team were also extremely patient in explaining all the paperwork and real estate process, and particularly leading them (80-year olds) through the virtual signature process. Susans advice and guidance, based on deep and thorough knowledge of the neighbourhood and real estate market, proved absolutely invaluable. We had absolute faith in her recommendations and approach, and happily sold the house the first day it was on the market despite it being a challenging time of year. The extra care and support we received from her team allowed us to focus on the emotional and physical aspects of transitioning our parents to the retirement home, knowing the sale of the house was in excellent hands.
