        They asked me to wait for someone to make a simple transaction I asked how long should I wait cause I have commitments they kept answering we dont know I asked for the manager or any responsible they told me no one is here.. staff are rude and careless Im moving my account

        Rude, abrupt and unhelpful. I simply wanted to purchase coins and smaller bills. It's literally exchanging "x" amount or money for exact same "x" amount of money in different denominations and was told as I'm not a CIBC client, they would only exchange yo to $100. I am with Simplii financial, which CIBC is the parent company of. How does that make sense.

        One of the financial advisor told me there would be a compensation for transferring a TFSA amount from another institution, it was verbally communicated and then was told otherwise, no partial and no full compensation. I lost money for transferring and the mutual funds department informed me what the financial advisor did not, no compensation on bigger fees for small amounts. It took a call to the mutual funds department to hear back after three weeks and voicemails to the advisor and branch leader. I've been a loyal client for years and losing that sum of money and horrible customer service has finalized my decision to close my account. Beware it's a red flag in my books with a side of gaslighting.
