This place is amazing, Innovative, quick, human. The folks here are well informed, it is a streamlined service that I absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone who requires sexual health or mental health services. However, I have had blood drawn here 5 times now, and the nurse has made a mess of my veins every time. It's actually so unfortunate that everything is great but these nurses have difficulty drawing blood. They actually told me it was my veins. I get blood drawn monthly elsewhere and it's always smooth and painless with no bruising. I have bruises every time I come get blood drawn here. Maybe they can help their nurses get better training.

I recently went to this clinic, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they made me feel comfortable throughout the process. However, the only downside is that they don't have a dedicated person who can receive calls from patients who have questions. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who belongs to GBTQ+ community and want to be be more aware of heir health, both physical and mental.

I usually look forward to going to Hq. However recently I have had more than a few negative experiences. Currently theyre understaffed and not receiving the support they need. its my experience that its starting to show in the behaviour of the employees. They are stressed. bordering on burnout and they deserve better. Also as a community we deserve to be treated with compassion and that was sorely lacking today for me. I just needed something very small to eat because I forgot to pack a snack. As health clinic that draws blood they should should have snacks available even if only by request. I have never needed to ask for a snack before in my life, mind you. And I rarely ask for help but I knew I needed help. I hadnt eaten since 7 this morning and I didnt think to bring anything with me because Im usually only there for 45 minutes to an hour. I wouldve considered a piece of basic human compassion to be like, hold on. Let me see if we have anything for you the receptionist whom is usually very kind said I should wait until after the appointment. I had ready been there for an hour and a half and ended up being there for three hours. I registered there 3 times do to an error in their system processing of my appointment. And they. Ended up having to manually input it in. Even after that I wasnt seen first I was still seen in the rotation last instead of first. despite waiting for so long. I am a very patient and considerate person but I was treated with a bit of passive aggression by them. I did not appreciate this because I think their personal opinions of clients may get in the way slightly of their professional responsibilities for patients. I ended up having to run down the stairs to get a snack that was almost $6 and I had an anxiety attack anyways. Also I was made to feel like I was crazy because of the way I was acting which was completely out of my control at that point because I was feeling hypoglycaemia. They talked to me with baby voices which only furthered agitated me. I ended up missing a friend date. I wont see them again for over three weeks because they dont have international calling or texting where they are going. It affected my personal life. They need to work on: - scheduling system - compassion and non-bias towards patients - There approach to care, specifically not talking to people in belittling ways. Also the phlebotomist called me by my dead name. So maybe a pronunciation area beside preferred names might help avoid with this problem in the future. (Might have been my fault though as I spelt It funny). -lastly there is no lost and found. These are heavy criticisms and I do not mean any of this as berating. Because this place has done soooo much good for me. like the good absolutely outweighs the bad. But no one should have to feel like this especially in a place that prioritizes mental health and well-being. Have since returned out of necessity. I will always suggest HQ for mental health support. However this experience was embarrassing and humiliating. Going forward. I will go to the acute ambulatory care unit for blood work. All the best. - 9
