Sales Representative, Jacqueline Chapman from Union Realty worked with us to secure a new tenant for our Toronto condo. Jacqueline was exceptional during the entire process. She is extremely detail oriented which is particularly important when searching for a quality tenant. What I also found very helpful was her commitment to regular communication throughout our search. I highly recommend Jacqueline if you are buying, selling, renting or leasing.

I would like to commend Jacqueline Chapman's hard work on the sale of 221 Kingswood Rd. Jacqueline paid attention to all the details and provided a handy man, a stager, movers for the staging, storage for the furniture that was not required for the sale of the house and a wonderful downsizing and decluttering specialist. All the resources that Jacqueline provided were fantastic and I never had to worry at all about any part of the selling process. The house sold for $600,000 over asking and I am sure without Jacqueline's expertise we would not have had that success! Thank you Jacqueline!

If I could give a zero star review I would. We bought a home with Carrie Skidmore in March of 2022. At first we thought she was diligent and looked out for our best interests , however we extremely wrong. We made a very clear requirement that we wanted a minimum of one parking spot. This was our first time buying in the city of Toronto so we were unaware of all the nuances of parking in Toronto and we thought we could trust Carrie (an agent that boasts she grew up in the Toronto East end) to help guide us in our decision making. We purchased a home in the Toronto East end that stated 1 parking on the mlse. However, upon inspection of the property we were informed this is a shared laneway but Carrie quickly reassured us that the buying agent informed her that we would have access to the parking spot during the winter months (when street parking is only allowed on one side of the street). With the hot market being what it was at the time, my husband and I made the choice to jump on this opportunity knowing this information. Unfortunately, when the winter came and we thought we would have access to the parking spot we quickly found out there was no such agreement in place. When we approached Carrie, she quickly changed her tune and her story. We went to RECO to complain about this issue and they made a verdict in favour of us and in opposition to the selling and buying agent, that they did not act ethically. Carrie acted solely on her own self-interests and in the end costed us an expensive investment for a home we were hoping to start growing our family in. Now, we will have to start looking for a home sooner than intended. Weve never been more disappointed in a real-estate agent (and mind you Ive been quite kind in this review than deserved) and we hope no one has to endure the same outcome as us.
