Conexus Credit Union

Switched my day-to-day banking to this credit union after moving from BC to SK. Things started out alright but after they updated their online banking my e-transfers no longer work. I have called my branch advisor and your call centre asking them to look into this. All have promised to call/email me back with a solution/update and none have actually followed up. Called your call centre again today and the rep couldnt wrap her head around the difference between a sender notification and a recipient notification. She tried to walk me through updating my Conexus notification settings, but she could not understand that it is the RECIPIENT who is not receiving notifications which has nothing to do with balance changes in my Conexus account. The recipient email (my own) has always been able to receive notifications for e-transfers from Conexus accounts all up until the OLB update. When CUs dont have the same resources/technologies as other FIs youd think theyd put a stronger emphasis on staff training, not here I guess. Ludicrous. Leaving the house now to get a bank draft to transfer everything out.

I come to this bank once a month for work related reasons and its a different experience every time. This bank is always lined up out the door and often the representatives dont seem to know what theyre doing. Theres been times that I am able to cash cheques instantly with no fuss, multiple times theyve needed a manager to come help, sometimes they ask for my ID, sometimes they ask for account numbers (which is on the cheque) and they always seem so confused. Today I sat in line for 30 mins and then at the till for another 20 just to cash a $50 cheque.

Terrible customer service. Was bounced between multiple financial advisors, none of whom actually helped me. When I finally spoke to a manager, she told me "I'll hand your account to a new advisor. This one is trust-worthy and reliable!" So all of them aren't..? Would give negative stars If possible.

I used to love dealing with this branch but since covid it is so frustrating. Being closed at 4pm??? The line ups used to always be short and very quick moving but not anymore... seems every dealing you have with a teller takes long (over 15 minutes with the teller just to buy coin) not to mention they removed 2 teller stations. I understand staffing is an issue but I just miss the service we used to receive.
